McLaren Orange

発売開始に向けて、いよいよ最終段階に入った McLaren MP4-12C。

先週末に行われた、南ポルトガルのPortimão サーキットでのテスト・トラックの

映像も公開されている。

Ricardo との協業による自製の３.８リッター・V8を積んだ MP4-12C のパワーは、

伊Graziano の７速DCT を介してP-Zero タイアに伝達され、0-60マイルは

スタンダードで３.２秒、オプションのP-Zero Corsa を履くと３秒フラットを叩き出す。

もちろん その数値に限らず、マクラーレンの真骨頂であるスタビリティー・コントロールは

ダッシュボードに配された H(Handling) / P(Powertrain) ダイアルで

各々Normal, Sport, Track とManual, Active ボタンを選択し、更にAeroボタンで、

必要に応じてリフトアップする１５段階に微調整されるエア・ブレーキ（ウイング）を加えて、

絶妙のハンドリングを可能にしている。

何もかもが楽しみに待たれるMP4-12C は、この５月から夏にかけての時点で、

まずヨーロッパで販売が開始され、９月には米国内の８ヶ所のデーラーを通じて

配車が始められる。　さて、日本ではいつから始まるのか？
